At RS.D Agencements de Caractère, two qualified interior architects — Deborah Bisciglia and Vivien — imagine bespoke spaces from Lyon: flow, light, proportion, materials. Founded in 1987, the studio blends a creative eye with a deep command of the built structure. Our 300 m² showroom and its materials library, at 148 rue Vendôme (Lyon 6th), let you see and touch every choice before you decide. Palette, furniture, surfaces, lighting: we compose a coherent art direction and select every material in our materials library, from oak to marble, for a distinctive, lasting interior.

Our twin culture as interior architects and fit-out makers carries the drawing onto the site: we finalise the construction details and finishes for a result faithful, to the millimetre, to the approved design.

An interior architect who knows Lyon’s buildings

What’s the difference between an interior architect, a decorator and a project manager?
A decorator dresses an existing space (furniture, colours, interior decoration). An interior architect, by contrast, rethinks the structure of the space: volumes, flow, plans and light. A project manager coordinates the works. At RS.D, our qualified architects design the project, and we can also deliver the build.
How does a design project work, and what are your fees?
It all starts with a meeting, then a preliminary design: plans, 3D and material boards. Design fees depend on the surface area and the level of detail required; they are set out from the very first quote — free and detailed, delivered within 48h. No commitment before you approve.
Do you work with a registered architect (DPLG) for extensions?
Yes. Our studio designs the interior layout; when a building permit is required — an extension, an added storey, a change to the façade — we coordinate with a partner registered architect (DPLG). You keep a single point of contact, from the interior drawing to the regulatory formalities.
Can we entrust you with the design only, without the works?
Yes. You can entrust us with a design-only project: survey, plans, photorealistic 3D and material boards, which you then build with the craftsmen of your choice. Many clients, however, entrust us with the rest too, for a build faithful to the design as drawn.
